Scantrade has become the new agent for Outdoor Research in Norway. Previously, the American brand was handled by Vertikal AS in the country. However, due to the recent acquisition of Outdoor Research by Scott Sports Group, the decision was made to switch agents. Scantrade's daughter company, Ramo, is in fact the agent for Scott in Norway. Scantrade will have full responsibility for Outdoor Research starting in spring 2016, which means that initial sales have already begun. Vertikal lost the distribution of Kamik in 2013 and of Lowe Alpine in 2014, as we have previously reported, but it recently signed up Montane for the Norwegian market. Vertikal is still the Norwegian distributor of Asolo, Grangers, MSR, Therm-A-Rest and Platypus.
