Scarpa Schuhe, the distribution arm of the Italian shoemaker for the German and the Benelux markets, has taken on the distribution of Boreas, the Californian marketer of backpacks. The agreement is, as of now, limited to Germany. Boreas was founded by Tae Kim in San Francisco in 2010. For seven years Kim was design director at The North Face before he launched his business in partnership with other Californian designers.
