While losing the distribution of Teva in Germany (see the related article in this section), Tatonka has found a U.S. distributor for Tasmanian Tiger. Proforce Equipment of Miramar, in the metropolitan area of Miami, has become the exclusive U.S. distributor for this supplier of premium military, tactical and police equipment. Tasmanian's products have until now been sold mostly in Europe and Asia. Among Proforce's other distribution clients are Snugpak, NDur and Camcon in North and South America and Wildo in the U.S. Tasmanian Tiger was founded in 1999 by Tatonka and remains a division of that company, with annual revenues of about $5 million. Both Tatonka and Tasmanian Tiger do their manufacturing in Vietnam. Proforce exhibited Tasmanian Tiger products at the latest edition of Shot, the firearms and hunting show that took place in January in Las Vegas.
