Wigwam, which claims to be the second-largest American maker of sports socks, has appointed HEJ International as its new U.K.-based distributor, charged of growing its European business. HEJ is a new company formed by Andrew Baguley and Thor Sten. Baguley has been handling sales for Wigwam at a company called Danali, and he has worked for 25 years at outdoor brands such as Bergans, Columbia, Sorel and Hestra. Thor Sten is a company owned by Tomas and Linda Torstensson, who founded a brand of children's outdoor clothing, Kozi Kidz, that is now distributed in 32 countries. Wigwam will show at Ispo Munich, where it will be looking for agents and distributors to cover Europe and other regions around the world.
