Wolfgang Greiner
Wolfgang Greiner, based in Munich, has been working in the sports and outdoor industry for over 30 years as an editor and publisher, both in B2B and B2C. Highlights of his career include the first European snowboard B2B magazine called European Snowboarding Business (published by b&d publishing, Hamburg) in the mid-1990s, the first ISPO live webcast in 1999 that he orchestrated as European Editor for the US website extremsports.com, the ispo_news quarterly and daily show floor newspapers for Messe München from 2001 until 2010, the successful launch of SkiPresse magazine, distributed free of charge through ski retailers as a link between the industry, the trade and the end consumer (a concept he brought to Europe from Canada in 2001) and the launch of a digital travel app magazine, RoadTrip, in 2013. In 2019, he joined EDM's new owners as a freelancer to support the redesign and evolution of The Outdoor Industry Compass and SGI Europe as managing editor.
