These cover the oversight of energy use, the measurement and reduction of greenhouse-gas emissions, the handling of chemicals, transparency in management and so forth. Gore has a headcount of 9,500 and has been recognized by the Great Place to Work Institute as well. It is based in Delaware and generates annual sales of about $3.5 billion.
