CBC.ca reports that Canada Goose is laying off 125 of its employees, which is about two percent of its total 5,000 employees. The Canadian parka specialist described the decision as difficult, but said the measure was necessary to offset the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on its business. According to CBC, the dismissed employees are offered compensation, extended benefits, a personal reference letter from chief executive Dani Reiss and the option to keep their corporate phones and computers.
