According to Sport-guide, Snowleader is expanding its headquarters in Epagny, on the outskirts of the French city of Annecy, to a total of 3,000 square meters. It is also taking charge of five former Caterpillar warehouses in Versoud, below the Les 7 Laux ski resort, and adding new buildings. The project will expand the storage space from 6,000 to 25,000 square meters, with 10-meter ceilings. Construction should be completed by April of next year, with an initial staff of 120 that would then be enlarged to 250 by 2025. Snowleader’s old warehouse in Chavanod, with its three-meter ceilings, is set to close in September 2021. The company’s owner and chief executive, Thomas Rouault, told Sport-guide, “We’re going to try to automate much of the facility so as to reduce our shipping times and offer same-day delivery for orders placed by 6:00 p.m.” The project is costing about €25 million. Snowleader has been enjoying double-digit growth of late. For the quarter ended on Feb. 28, it posted sales of €34.8 million, up by more than 20 percent year-on-year. It expects to break €100 million in annual sales by 2025.
