Fjällräven has made a “Down Promise” that all its new products will only use ethically produced down feathers of the highest quality. After several years of work on this increasingly sensitive issue, the Swedish company says it is now working with one supplier who shares its views on animal welfare, allowing it to trace the whole production process from hatchlings to finished products. All the down collected from this supplier is stored in sealed sacks that are checked at different stages of the production process to ensure that it's not mixed with down from other sources.
