La Sportiva will join 1% For the Planet, the global organization that works to accelerate environmental giving. The members of the organization contribute by allocating at least 1 percent of their annual revenues to environmental non-profit projects and causes. The Italian outdoor company will make the official announcement at Ispo 2019, which will be held in Munich on Feb. 3-6. As part of its commitment to environmental sustainability, La Sportiva will also present at Ispo its new autumn/winter 2019/20 collection, which includes a new apparel line – called Ski-Tour – made of recycled fabrics. The garments of the Ski-Tour range are made entirely or partially with fabrics and padding derived from recycled polyester, obtained from the recycling of plastic bottles.
