Ledlenser, a manufacturer of mobile LED lighting products “engineered & designed in Germany,” is expanding its partnership with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF; Doctors without Borders) and will become an official partner company in 2020. A first donation of 130 headlamps made in October 2019 was supplemented in December 2019 by the donation of a further 107 flashlights. This was followed in February 2020 by an additional cash donation of €3,000, which will help MSF to save the lives of people in need worldwide. An official handover of the donation cheque and an X21R flashlight with individual MSF engraving took place on March 10 at Ledlenser’s headquarters in Solingen, Germany. Thomas Willing (CEO Ledlenser) and Oliver Dross (Head of Product Development Ledlenser) handed over the cheque and flashlight to Dr. Jens Hahn of Médecins Sans Frontières.

Médecins sans Frontières was founded in 1971 and is active in many crisis regions worldwide to provide important humanitarian aid. The effects of war, displacement, epidemics or malnutrition are alleviated by the efforts of international medical staff together with national staff. The staff of Médecins Sans Frontières provide more than ten million medical treatments every year.
