The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) has joined forces with TAFE NSW, a vocational education and training provider, to set up a new Centre for Fashion and Textiles Sustainability in Sydney. The center, initially backed by an AU$200,000 (€126,000-$149,800) grant from the government of New South Wales, will help develop sustainability and innovation in the Australian fashion industry post-Covid. The center will host advanced equipment, such as 3D knitting machines, body scanning, digital pattern cutting and 3D printing.
