Sympatex has released a sustainable functional jacket, inspired by circular economics and developed as part of the company's wear2wear European industry partnership, which aims to close the textile loop. The jacket has been designed by the Munich's Design2Recycle team of sustainable functional textile experts, in collaboration with Schoeller Textil, a wear2wear co-founder with Sympatex in 2017. The jacket, which is said to be fully waterproof and highly breathable, is made from Inspire, a 100 percent polyester workwear fabric that features a non-PTFE, non-PFC and climate-neutral Sympatex membrane.
