Ternua is launching a capsule collection of eco-dyed garments, based on its Nutcycle project, which the Spanish firm presented last year. The Nutcycle project reuses agricultural waste and applies it to garments as a natural dye, avoiding the use of artificial dyes. Besides natural dyes, the new capsule collection uses a sustainable fabric that is a blend of recycled cotton, from products that have reached the end of their life, and recycled polyester, coming from recycled post-consumer PET bottles. The fabric is dyed using inedible agriculture waste (nut shells). The capsule collection includes a shirt and a sweatshirt for men and women.
