The Petzl Foundation said it funded 45 different projects in 2015 with a total of €356,000. The foundation helps mountain and vertical access communities both in France, where Petzl is headquartered, and abroad. Since its creation in 2006, the foundation has funded more than 128 projects worth around €3.5 million in total. The foundation's support is focused on the areas of accident prevention, conservation and scientific research. Among its projects for 2016, it will support the development of the collaborative website www.camptocamp.org, which provides free information on mountain trails and climbing route conditions. The website is scheduled for launch this autumn.
