Deckers Brands, the parent company of Teva and Hoka One One, announced that it will make room for two new independent directors, replacing two who are retiring from its board. Marcato Capital Management, the activist investor that has been criticizing the company's management, asking to sell all the group's brands except for Ugg, reiterated his request to replace the entire board at Deckers' annual meeting next month. It noted that its former chief executive, Angel Martinez, sold nearly half of his shares when he retired last year, calling the move a vote of no confidence in the current board.
