Deuter inaugurated a brand-new headquarters last week. Located at Gersthofen outside Augsburg, Germany, the new site has a total surface of 20,000 square meters on three floors. The space includes 2,100 m² occupied by offices, a 100-m² shop and a 7,200-m² warehouse to process the three million-odd items that the German company sells every year, i.e. 2.1 million backpacks, 100,000 sleeping bags and 800,000 accessories. It took about one a half years to complete construction at a cost of around €15 million.
