(Already published in the Asia Outdoor issue). Robert Sazaki has resigned as president of LaCrosse Footwear, reportedly for personal reasons. The former Nike official had joined the U.S. company as executive vice president last December after its takeover by the Japanese distributor of the brand, ABC-Mart. Yasushi Akaogi, a Japanese manager who was made chairman of LaCrosse, will now act also as its president.
