Amer Sports announced that Vincent Wauters has been appointed general manager of Arc'teryx, starting immediately. Taking the place of Tyler Jordan, he will be based at the brand's head office in Vancouver. He will report to Andy Towne, president of Amer's sports apparel division, with the goal of driving faster growth in softgoods by leveraging scale and synergies. Wauters will no longer be a member of the group's executive board. Since 2008, he has been the group's senior vice president for the supply chain and IT, a responsibility that will be transferred to Antti Jääskeläinen, adding to his role as chief development officer. Amer says Wauters has successfully led the group's supply chain and IT into a world-class operation with an integrated and scalable model.
