Andy Schimeck, the former European director of Marmot Mountain who became the European director of Equip Outdoor Technologies last year, has taken on the temporary position of country manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland following the departure of Andreas Ried, but a search has started for the latter's successor. Meanwhile, the subsidiary's staff in Martinsried is being expanded with the appointment of Sarah Kampf and Max Reisinger. Kampf, who had a similar position at Marmot, will serve as PR and communications director for Central Europe. Reisinger, who previously ran the Munich store of The North Face, will take care of customer service.
