Bergans of Norway has named Sven Mostögl as the new sales director for its German subsidiary, which takes care of direct sales in the German, Austrian and Italian markets, and distribution in the rest of the European Union. He reports directly to Leif Holst-Liæker, chief executive of the Norwegian company. The 35-year-old German manager  worked most recently at Tchibo, after serving as European category director for apparel at Black Diamond between June 2012 and September 2014. Prior to that, he worked as European category manager for action sports at The North Face. He started his career in Sweden, working for Craft Sportswear, where he was responsible for functional baselayers and cross-country skiing.
