Black Diamond's president and chief executive, Peter Metcalf, has been named a director of the Salt Lake City Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco for a three-year term that began on Jan. 1, 2014. Metcalf replaces Scott Hymas, chairman of the board of the Salt Lake City Branch and chief executive of R.C. Willey Home Furnishings, who retired from the Branch's board after serving as a director since 2007. The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco provides wholesale banking services to financial institutions in the nine western states.
