Christoph Mannel, who was taking care of sales and marketing for the Oberalp group's brands in the German-speaking countries as general manager for Central Europe, left the company at the end of April. Benedikt Böhm, general brand manager for the group's Dynafit brand, has taken over his place on an interim basis. Mannel, a former Puma manager, joined the group in 2009 to take charge of Austria. He assumed his new responsibilities last August as part of a reorganization following the departure of Stefan Rosenkranz and Reinhold Hugo as country managers for Salewa in Germany and Switzerland. Oberalp has an important portfolio of brands including Salewa, Dynafit, Pomoca and Wild Country.
