Claudio Angaran has been named international sales and marketing manager of Garmont. The Italian executive has worked in the past 15 years for three other Italian outdoor firms: Trezeta, La Sportiva and Aku. Angaran takes the place of Gian Luca Farinazzo, who has left the company to work for Lowa. Garmont is concentrating on outdoor shoes following the sales last year of its ski boot business to Scott Sports.
