Colin Israel, former managing director for Asia at Black Diamond, has become chief operating officer and chief financial officer for Alpha Industries, a U.S. brand of outerwear. Israel's function at Black Diamond included running factories, warehouses and distribution centers, along with customer service. He was previously the chief information officer at Volcom. At the same time, Alpha Industries, which specializes in military-style outerwear, such as flight jackets and vests, has appointed Matthew Pantoja as vice president of marketing. Pantoja most recently worked as senior director of marketing at Palladium, after other assignments at Reebok and New Era Cap, among others. Both are reporting to Mike Cirker, Alpha Industries' chief executive.
