David Labistour is planning to leave as chief executive of Mountain Equipment Co-op next June. In the 11 years that he spent in this position, the Canadian outdoor retail chain raised the number of its stores from 12 to 23. The number of members of the cooperative rose from 2.7 million to 5.1 million.
