Dirk Ostertag has been hired as European sales manager for Camelbak, after the hydration company's acquisition by Vista Outdoor last year and as a means to reinforce its international business. Ostertag previously worked as commercial manager for the Speedo brand at the Oberalp Group in Germany, after other management functions at Skins, SQ Lab and Polar. Based in Munich, he will report to Andrew Shand, vice president of international sales based in the U.K., and integrate the sales team to support European distributors and retailers. The group has also hired new sales managers for the Pacific Northwest and the eastern part of the U.S.
