Greg Williamson has been appointed as president of Camelbak, the specialist in hydration products, from July 16. He was previously chief marketing officer for Eagle Rider Motorcycle Rentals and Tours, and he held a similar position at Arctic Cat. Williamson has about two decades of experience with hardware companies as well. He indicated in a statement that he would search for ways to leverage the equity built up by Camelbak through its leadership and recognition in the hydration category. The company said Williamson has experience in consumer products and large global brands, specifically in strategy and product development, channel marketing and brand building and international markets. He is based in Petaluna, at the Californian head office of Camelbak, which is owned by Vista Outdoor.
