Haglöfs has hired a number of key people in recent weeks. The latest recruit is Robert Olsson, who has become the company's new senior designer for apparel. In the ‘90s, Olsson was one of Sweden's biggest freeride skis stars. At the peak of his career, he began designing garments for Peak Performance, which turned into a full-time position. At Peak, he acted as a designer as well as field tester for outdoor, running, cycling and skiwear products. Prior to Peak, he worked for a while as a designer for O'Neill and for his own brand of ski goggles, Spektrum. Olsson will assume his new role at Haglöfs in mid-November.
