Hydrapak has appointed Jordan Phillips as director of sales, with a focus on its consumer products. He worked most recently at Levi Strauss & Co., but was previously sales manager and director of sales at Gregory Mountain Products and Overland Equipment. He has been an advisor to major outdoor brands. Based on Oakland, California, Hydrapak is a major original equipment manufacturer of personal hydration systems for major hydration brands. It is also a supplier to the military. The company, which has many distributors around the world, recently came out with a new system, the SoftFlask, to carry energy gels that resembles a tube of toothpaste and that shrinks as it runs down.
