Inov-8, the fast-growing British brand of sports shoes specializing in trail running, has appointed Tim Parkin as head of European sales. He spent the last eight years at Asics. The company, which is celebrating its tenth year in business, previously appointed Rob Maynard as group finance director. He had previously worked at Pentland Brands. A global product manager is about to be named. Founded in June 2003 by Wayne Edy, who was born in Zimbabwe and then became a regular at off-road races across the U.K. and the rest of Europe, Inov-8 has pioneered the arrow system, whih allows runners to develop a more natural technique based in the difference in height between the heel and the toe of the shoe.
