Jonathan Petty, European marketing manager at Patagonia, is preparing to move to London to become regional manager for the same brand in northern Europe, encompassing the U.K., Ireland, the Nordics and the Baltics. To reinforce its business in all of Europe, Patagonia has carved the continent into four regional units. While Petty is taking charge in northern Europe, Frédéric Mouyade is supervising France, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and Turkey, from Patagonia's European head office in Annecy. Norbert Sandner, based in Germany, is covering that country, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Bulgaria. As for Andrea Tomasini, based in Italy, he supervises that country along with Russia, the Ukraine and the Middle East. A replacement has yet to be appointed for Petty in the European marketing job, which is based in Annecy. The changes come after Stefan Wahlén, a former executive at Peak Performance, became managing director of Patagonia Europe earlier this year.
