Keen, the American outdoor footwear brand, which has been working with distributors throughout Europe so far, will be taking care of its own sales and marketing in the Netherlands starting from the autumn 2013 season. Hans Feenstra, who has served at Keen in different functions since 2004, will take charge of the brand's distribution in the Netherlands, which was previously handled by Ben Töller at Foxxlite Trading. John Jansen, general manager for Keen in Europe, said that the opening of the Dutch subsidiary should enable the company to react more rapidly to consumer demand. Keen's decision to take over its distribution in the Netherlands is partly due to the fact that the company's European head office is based in that country.
