Marmot Mountain will have for the first time a general manager with global responsibility for product, sales and marketing. The role has been assigned to Joe Flannery, who worked for Adidas in Germany and the U.S. and then served as vice president of global marketing for The North Face. In his most recent job, he was president of Canadian Mountain Holidays (CMH), a heli-ski operator. Flannery will report to Mark Martin, chief executive of Jarden Technical Apparel, who oversees Marmot, ExOfficio and other brands of Jarden Corp.
