He will be based at Herbechtlingen, Germany, and will report to Jeff B. Keane, the company's chief executive. Before its most recent station at Max Schlatterer, Winnen worked for Sympatex Technologies, where he was instrumental in its relocation to a single office in Munich and in the establishment of new operationsin Hong Kong and Beijing. His family founded and ran Heinrich Winnen, an internationally-oriented German company with a history of more than 100 years in the production of high-quality apparel, personal protection clothing and equipment. Noble Biomaterials is known mainly for X-Static, an anti-odor and antimicrobial material that uses 99.9 percent pure silver.
