Osprey Packs has launched a search for a new chief executive. The role has been held for the past 15 years by Tom Barney, but he will resign as of Oct. 28. No reason has been given for his departure. Mike Pfotenhauer, founder and owner of the company, publicly praised him for his excellent leadership and direction, noting that the company has experienced significant sales growth, while expanding the number of retail and distribution partners. He said Barney was also an excellent business partner.
