Patrick Diller has been appointed marketing manager for MSR Global Health, an initiative launched earlier this year by Mountain Safety Research (MSR), an outdoor equipment supplier owned by Cascade Designs. His assignment is to assist Jane Mauser, MSR marketing director, in developing marketing plans and leading cross-functional teams for their implementation at local and global level. Diller was previously at Whole Foods Market, where he supervised store operations, marketing strategies, merchandizing programs and content creation for various programs. He also spent more than ten years in the real estate industry, in both sales and consulting. Tapping into the expertise of the Seattle-based company, MSR Global Health was launched to improve access to food, water, shelter and mobility for people in low-resource communities around the world – in partnership with leading universities, technology development firms, non-profit organizations and funding agencies. Diller was described as an outdoor enthusiast and a member of his local Explorer Search & Rescue.
