Philip Sande, general manager of Point6 for Canada, is adding responsibility for the young American sock company's international sales. Betsy Seabert, who was handling international sales, is no longer with the company. Sande is familiar with international sales, a beat that he ran for 15 years while he worked at Smartwool. He joined that company in 1993 together with Peter Duke, who left it in 2003, before its sale to Timberland . Duke set up Point6 in 2008. In Canada, Sande has opened more than 300 specialty retail stores for Point6. The company, which will have a booth at the OutDoor show in Friedrichshafen, is still looking for representation in Austria, Switzerland, Finland and several Eastern European countries.
