Polartec has announced the appointment of Doug Kelliher to the position of vice president of product development after working for over 20 years with such companies as Timberland and Velcro Industries, where he recently acted as product manager for outdoor and hardware products. In Europe, meanwhile, Polartec has overhauled its sales and marketing operations. Juan Carlos Gonzalez, former sales director for Europe, has been promoted to the position of managing director of international sales. His position in Marseille is taken over by Eric Young, who has been the European marketing manager for the past seven years, He is reporting to Gonzalez. Alessandro Perseo, who joined the company almost three years ago, is now in charge of European marketing, reporting directly to Allon Cohne, global marketing director of Polartec.
