Rob Kass has been appointed president of Gerber, the American knife manufacturer based at Tigard, Oregon that is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. He replaces Jason Landmark, who has gone to another company. Kass has worked for more than 25 years as an executive for durable goods and building materials companies including American Standard and Black & Decker. He was most recently the chief marketing officer for Elkay Manufacturing Company.
