Sportfack reports that Patrik Elfwing is preparing to leave Silva, the Swedish specialist in headlamps and compasses, after about four years at the helm. Elfwing led changes that aimed to broaden Silva's product offering and to turn it into a more brand-focused company. Elfwing told the Swedish publication that it would be judicious for Silva to have fresh leadership as it moves into the next phase of development. Elfwing took over from Lars Gullikson shortly after Karnell, a Swedish investment firm, bought Silva from Fiskars. He is to remain on board until a new chief executive is operational and he apparently hasn't decided on any new projects.
