Thomas Aigner has been appointed as global marketing director for Salewa from the start of November. He will take over from Maurizio Priano, who has been in charge of the outdoor brand's marketing for five years and who left the company at the end of July. Aigner spent the last 14 years in the tourism industry. Salewa previously changed its marketing manager in Central Europe with the appointment of Christian Lutz in May. The leadership of the Oberalp group, which owns Salewa as well as Dynafit, Wild Country, Pomoca and more, is to be taken over in September by Christoph Engl. Its previous chief executive, Massimo Baratto, left to lead Under Armour's business in Europe.
