Timo Perschke, the founder and chief executive of Pyua, left the German company on Sept. 1. His departure took place a few weeks after some of the company's retail partners expressed concerns about the planned sale of its products on the web store of Tchibo, a Hamburg-based retail chain known for its very low prices. Pyua had announced that its rather expensive products, which use biodegradable fibers, would be available on the site from Oct. 16 for a period of four to five weeks. Pyua has also announced that it will relocate its headquarters from Kiel to Munich as part of its reorganization, started after it was acquired a year ago by an investment firm, Spin Capital. The company had previously bought a producer of avalanche airbags, ABS.
