Two professionals with experience in female-oriented products are joining the product design and development team of Mountain Hardwear, working under Robert Fry, director of product merchandising and product for this subsidiary of Columbia Sportswear. Bringing women-specific expertise from the years she spent as product line manager at Columbia and Eddie Bauer, Jennifer Zollars has been appointed product line manager for sportswear at Mountain Hardwear. The other new hire is Karie Carter, who has been appointed women's design manager. She worked at Nike, Columbia, New Balance and, most recently, at The North Face.
