VF Corp. has named Scott H. Baxter as president of its outdoor and action sports group in the Americas, which includes Eagle Creek, Eastpak, JanSport, Kipling, Lucy, Napapijri, Reef, SmartWool, The North Face, Timberland and Vans. Baxter previously held the same role at VF's Jeanswear Americas. The new role is effective immediately. In 2015, VF's outdoor and action sports group in the Americas represented 35 percent of the company's global revenues. Phil McAdams will succeed Baxter as president of Jeanswear Americas, which includes the Lee and Wrangler brands. McAdams will be replaced by Tom Waldron, who has been with VF for 21 years, as president of the Wrangler brand. Furthermore, Kevin Bailey, president of VF Action Sports and Vans, will now additionally oversee VF activities in Central and South America, as well as the outdoor and action sports businesses in Canada and Mexico.
