Garmont International, the Italian performance footwear brand for outdoor activities, has announced the arrival of Luigi Rossi Luciani as a new minority shareholder of the company. Rossi Luciani is the founder and president of Carel, a company specializing in energy-saving control solutions for the air conditioning and refrigeration sector. He is also a shareholder of Panther, a safety footwear company. He has now acquired a 21 percent share of the capital of Garmont International, whose majority shareholder remains Prisma 2, headed by Pierangelo Bressan. As previously reported, Wayne Edy, the founder of Inov-8, has also invested in Garmont. He is marketing its tactical line in the U.S.
