Laurent Vanat, the authoritative consultant based in Switzerland, has put out a call for crowdfunding of the forthcoming 2019 issue of his International Report on Snow & Mountain Tourism, which is due to be released in April. Contributors of any amount over the technical minimum will be listed in the report's acknowledgements. In addition to funding the work itself, contributions serve to keep the report available online and free of charge. Interested parties – whether individuals, companies or organizations – should go to www.paypal.me/laurentvanat or send an e-mail to vanat@vanat.ch. The report has made use of crowdfunding every year since 2016.
