A long-standing legal dispute between Crocs and USA Dawgs is taking a new turn with an anti-trust lawsuit launched by the latter company against 18 founders, former and current directors of Crocs. It accuses them of conspiring to fraudulently obtain Crocs' clog patents, using them afterwards to attack competitors. It requests damages of $350 million in the new case, which follows on a verdict by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office last February that invalidated Crocs' core 789 patent.
