After a brief truce in the dispute between the U.S. and Chinese government, President Donald Trump announced today that the U.S. will impose extra duties of 10 percent on $300 billion worth of annual imports from China as of Sept. 1. The list of the affected products has not yet been released, and the U.S. Sports & Fitness Industry Association (SFIA) hopes that some sporting goods products will be exempted, following recent Congressional hearings.
