Alexey Grebtzov has been elected as the new chairman of the Russian Outdoor Group, replacing Alexander Glushkovskiy. Grebtzov is the managing director of Start 1, a company that distributes the products of La Sportiva and Tatonka in Russia. It also has its own brand of outdoor products, Alexika, which produces tents, mats and sleeping bags. The former chairman, Glushkovskiy, is the partner of Vlad Moroz in Red Fox. The Russian Outdoor Group has 12 members. Sportal, an internet portal for sports products, has left the group, reportedly because of a reorganization of the company. A newcomer is Setila, the Swedish brand of head wear, which is, at least partly, made in Russia.
